This 2 day workshop will focus on the development of young dogs for police service work. Tracking, obedience, behaviour shaping and modification as well as foundation protection training will all be covered by some of the most knowledgeable police and sport dog trainers available today. October 4 through 6, 2008, Everett, Washington

Fred Hassen's "Sit means Sit" E-collar workshop for Police Dog Handlers

The most up to date philosophy of e-collar applications and training.

Don't get left in the 80's. Collars do not ruin dogs, training does!

Fred will work handlers through the basics of E-collar introduction for working police dogs. This course is an excellent weekend for those who have control problems with their dogs, and also for those just wanting to get the latest training in this methodology.

2008 CPCA spring seminar -
Victoria British Columbia
May 7-10, 2008

The registration is now open for the 2008 CPCA Spring Seminar that is being held in Victoria BC, May 7th - 10th. The theme of this years seminar is " Control" and we will be utilizing various venues and instructors to exemplify control with your dog.

The host hotel is the Sandman Hotel located at 2852 Douglas street, we have secured a discounted rate for the standard room. though if you require a larger room there will be a slight increase in the rate. Please quote reference number ( # 128200) to ensure you get this rate. If you want to have your K9 in your room there is an extra charge of $10.00 per night. Rooms need to be booked soon especially if you want a room for you and your k-9, in any event rooms need to be booked by APRIL 01, 2008.

Enterprise Rent -A-car is the official rental car agency and we have secured a special rate for this event, the rates for minivans are $ 49.95/day with up to 4000 free km ( per month) and $249.99/week, just follow the link on the website.

2008 CPCA - Annual Police Dog Trials
Saskatoon, Sask. July 17-20, 2008

This years CPCA trial will run from July 17th - 20th and we have limited our registration to 40 teams. Plans are well under way for everyone to have a great time, while enjoying good spirited competition. There will be lots on the go with this event occurring while we also host the Can- Am games.
