This seminar covers skills puppies need for beginning protection work and how owner/handlers can develop those skills and motivations. Obedience within protection work, the role of the helper and the handler and proper temperament of dogs who can do protection work are discussed. Included is a basic overview of the Schutzhund 1 protection phase. This program would be suited to those interested in protection training, schutzhund training or police training.
